Sustainability expertise, sharpened by AI
Sustech Solutions helps manufacturers, technology companies and research teams measure environmental impact, plan credible routes to net zero, and build AI that gets the science right.

Led by Dr Izhar Shah
Izhar founded Sustech Solutions in 2024 after three years as a subject matter expert in engineering sustainability at Jaguar Land Rover, where he worked on life cycle assessment and net-zero technology for electric drive programmes.
Before that he was a post-doctoral researcher at Imperial College London, working on industrial decarbonisation of cement and steel. His Nature Communications paper showed that clinker substitution could avoid 1.4 gigatons of greenhouse gas emissions a year.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering, has supervised MSc and PhD students, and has taught at UCL, Warwick and Reading.
Outside consulting, Izhar also runs The Parallel Operator, sharing practical guides on building a business alongside a career, at izharshah.com.
